London to Stansted Airport -- bus stop information
You can book a ticket from London Liverpool Street or London Stratford, whichever is more convenient for you. As both locations are well served by public transport and taxi services, it is easy to get to and from both locations.
At London Liverpool Street, you depart from Bus Stop G. This is located on Bishopsgate, close to the main entrance to the station. At Stratford, your bus stop is Bus Stop 20 which is next to the Westfield Stratford City centre mall and an easy 2-minute walk from the main rail station and bus station.
From Stratford, your journey is non-stop up the M11 motorway to Stansted Airport. Once you arrive at the airport, you are dropped off at our arrival bays adjacent to the entrance leading to Stansted Departure security control area. If you are travelling back into London from Stansted Airport, your departure point is from bays 24 and 25 directly in front of the main terminal building. The airport coach terminal has plenty of facilities whilst you wait, including toilets, a café and comfortable waiting area. Our staff are on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Stratford Underground is connected to the brand-new Elizabeth Line, which is bringing new and faster connections to this part of the capital. Stratford International station is served by high speed rail services that allow you to reach King's Cross/St Pancras in under 10 minutes. From here, you can also access destinations in Kent and south east England in under an hour.
London Liverpool Street is a major rail centre serving the east of England including Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, with regular rail services from locations all across the region. It is also served by several London Underground services including the Circle Line, the Metropolitan Line, the Hammersmith & City Line, the Central Line, and the Elizabeth Line.
Because of its location close to the financial and business districts and the City of London, Liverpool Street is well served by buses and taxis. Uber services are also available. It is worth noting that there is no parking at London Liverpool Street, so it is advisable to leave the car at home and book an Uber or take public transport instead.

How much luggage can I take?
We give all of our travellers (young and old) a generous luggage allowance of two standard size suitcases and a single piece of hand luggage, absolutely free of charge. Your hand luggage should be capable of being stowed in the overhead rack or under your seat. Additional items of hand luggage are charged at £5 per item. Your driver is happy to help you load and unload your luggage.
How early should I get to my bus stop?
We advise all passengers to be at their designated pick-up point (London Liverpool Street, London Stratford or Stansted Airport) a minimum of 20 minutes before your bus is due to leave.
Should I book early if I am catching a flight from Stansted Airport?
We advise customers to book a bus service that arrives at Stansted Airport at least three hours before the flight is due to leave.
